PENCAHAYAAN BAIK UNTUK EMOSI YANG POSITIF: ANALISIS EMOSI SAAT MALAM HARI BERDASARKAN PENILAIAN TERHADAP PENCAHAYAAN LOKASI

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi emosi individu yang muncul saat malam hari dengan adanya pencahayan di suatu lokasi dan menganalisis hubungan antara emosi yang muncul dengan penilaian terhadap pencahayaan di lokasi tersebut saat malam hari. Penelitian dilakukan secara cross-sectional kepada 56 responden dengan memberikan open-ended question melalui survei daring.  Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif, kendall-tau b, dan rank biserial melalui program analisis statistik JAMOVI. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa lebih banyak partisipan yang melaporkan emosi positif (n=37) dibandingkan emosi negatif (n=18) dan netral (n=1) dengan adanya pencahayaan di lokasi target saat malam hari. Munculnya emosi positif tersebut berkorelasi dengan adanya penilaian positif terhadap pencahayaan yang ada di lokasi terkait, begitu pula sebaliknya untuk emosi negatif (r=.276, p<.05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, pencahayaan dengan desain yang dinilai positif oleh masyarakat perlu diaplikasikan khususnya pada lokasi yang memunculkan emosi negatif saat malam hari agar dapat mendukung aktivitas masyarakat saat malam hari di lokasi tersebut.
