PERSEPSI KETIDAKAMANAN DAN PROSOCIAL RISK TAKING PADA PENGGUNA KRL DI JABODETABEK

Salah satu faktor yang membuat orang kota lebih ragu dalam menolong orang asing adalah karena adanya kerentanan fisik dan emosional yang lebih besar, yang dipicu oleh tingginya kriminalitas di perkotaan. Kerentanan ini berkaitan juga dengan bagaimana seseorang mempersepsikan risiko atas keamanannya dalam menolong orang lain, khususnya jika perilaku menolong tersebut melibatkan hal-hal yang berisiko. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner daring dilakukan pada pengguna KRL di Jabodetabek (N=128) untuk mengetahui apakah ketidakamanan yang dipersepsikan penduduk perkotaan dapat memprediksi kecenderungan seseorang berperilaku prososial. Analisis dilakukan dengan regresi logistik multinomial. Dari empat variabel persepsi ketidakamanan, hasil penelitian menemukan persepsi kontrol seperti kemampuan melindungi diri sendiri sebagai variabel prediktor yang signifikan terhadap perilaku prosocial risk takers dan indifferent bystanders. Perbedaan signifikan tidak ditemukan pada tiga variabel lainnya. Adanya perbedaan gender juga ditemukan dengan perempuan melaporkan persepsi kontrol yang lebih rendah daripada laki-laki.References
