Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran agama terkait dengan perilaku pro lingkungan. Dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 200 responden dengan rentang usia 18-57 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif analisis isi dengan mendasarkan pada pertanyaan terbuka yaitu pertama bagaimana bentuk menjaga lingkungan; kedua Apakah terdapat ajaran di agama anda yang mengajak untuk menjaga lingkungan hidup; ketiga, apakah ajaran dalam agama memainkan peranan penting dalam menjaga lingkungan hidup; keempat, apakah tokoh agama memberikan materi ceramahnya untuk menjaga lingkungan hidup; kelima apakah perlu tokoh agama untuk memberikan materi ceramahnya tentang menjaga lingkungan hidup. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan agama (ajaran dan tokoh agama) diindikasikan baru mampu memberikan efek persepsi terkait perilaku pro lingkungan yang masih bersifat dasar dalam lingkup gaya hidup individu dibandingkan dalam skala yang lebih luas dan massif dalam ranah kebijakan maupun menjaga ekosistem.
