Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English using clear, professional, and academic language.

  • Submissions must follow the IEEE citation style and comply with the provided journal template.

  • The manuscript should be submitted as a single MS Word file (.docx), including text, tables, figures, and references.

2. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be structured as follows:

A. Title and Author Information

  • Title should be concise and informative (avoid symbols, special characters, or formulas).

  • Include full names of all authors (first author marked with *), their affiliations, and email addresses.

B. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract (max 200 words) must briefly summarize objectives, problem, methods, solution, and findings.

  • Do not include symbols, footnotes, or equations in the title or abstract.

  • Keywords (3–5) should be separated by commas and listed below the abstract.

C. Main Section

Use clear section headings in the following order:

1). Introduction

Describe the background, problem formulation, purpose of the study, related works, and research gap. End with a clear statement of objectives and contributions.

2). Research Methods

  • Research Design: Type and approach (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed).

  • Population and Sample: Describe your data, system, or software being studied.

  • Instruments and Procedures: Explain tools, stages of development, and testing methods (unit test, performance test, etc.).

3). Results and Discussion

Present findings clearly using tables, graphs, or figures. Discuss results in comparison with prior studies. Mention limitations and their impact.

4). Conclusion

Summarize the key findings and contributions. Reaffirm the importance of the research and suggest future work.

D. Figures, Table, and Equations

  • Figures should be labeled:
    Figure 1. Description of the figure

  • Tables should be labeled:
    TABLE 1. Description of the table

  • Equations must be created using MS Equation Editor and numbered sequentially (e.g., Equation (1)). Symbols should be explained after the equation.

E. References

  • Use IEEE citation style.

  • Minimum of 15 references, at least 60% from primary sources (journals, proceedings).

  • Prioritize literature from the last 10 years.

  • Use reference managers like Mendeley or Zotero.

3. Submission and Review

  • All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review.

  • Authors must ensure anonymity of their identity within the manuscript text.

  • Editorial decisions are based on reviewer recommendations.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The manuscript is an original work or research result by the author(s), and is free from duplication, fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism.
  • The manuscript is written in accordance with the author guidelines and article template of the JITC Journal.
  • The manuscript includes a minimum of 15 references, with at least 60% sourced from scholarly journal articles.
  • References and bibliography have been managed using a reference management tool.
  • The author will not submit this article to another journal during the review process, unless the article has been officially rejected by JITC Journal.
