Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Informatika & Teknologi Cerdas (JITC) will undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review process in order to ensure objectivity, impartiality, and academic integrity.

The peer review process follows these steps:

  1. Initial Screening
The editorial team will conduct an initial evaluation to ensure the manuscript fits within the journal’s scope and meets basic quality and formatting requirements. Manuscripts that do not comply will be returned to the authors for revision or rejection.

  2. Peer Review Assignment
Eligible manuscripts will be assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The reviewers are selected based on their expertise, academic background, and experience.

  3. Review Process
Reviewers will assess the manuscript based on scientific quality, originality, clarity, methodology, relevance, and contribution to the field. They may recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection.

  4. Decision and Notification
The final decision (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject) will be made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ comments and recommendations. Authors will be notified of the decision along with reviewer feedback.

  5. Revision and Final Decision
If revisions are requested, authors must respond to reviewer comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe. The revised manuscript may be re-reviewed depending on the extent of the changes.

  6. Publication
Once accepted, the manuscript will proceed to the production stage for final editing and layout before being published online in the upcoming issue.

The editorial board is committed to maintaining high academic standards and ensuring the integrity and quality of the publication process through a fair and rigorous review system.
