Publication Ethics
Publication Decisions
Selecting which submitted papers should be published is the responsibility of the editor. The editor is guided by the journal’s editorial board policies and applicable legal requirements regarding plagiarism, copyright infringement, and libel. In making publication decisions, the editor may consult with other editors or reviewers.
Principle of Fairness
An editor evaluates manuscripts solely based on their intellectual content, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy.
Maintaining Confidentiality
The editor must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, prospective reviewers, editorial advisers, or the publisher, as appropriate.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor’s own research without the express written consent of the author.
Duties of Authors
Reporting Standards
Authors of original research reports should present an accurate account of the work performed and an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying data must be accurately represented, and manuscripts should contain sufficient detail and references to enable replication. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior.
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. If the work or words of others are used, appropriate citation or quotation is required. The maximum acceptable level of plagiarism is 20%, which will be checked using the Turnitin application.
Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication
Authors should not submit manuscripts describing substantially the same research to more than one journal simultaneously. Concurrent submission or redundant publication is considered unethical and unacceptable.
Acknowledgment of Sources
Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be provided through appropriate citations. Authors should cite publications that have influenced the reported work. References should be managed using citation tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
Authorship of the Paper
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All contributors meeting these criteria should be listed as co-authors. The corresponding author must ensure that all co-authors have approved the final manuscript and agreed to its submission.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of their results. Sources of financial support for the research must also be clearly stated.
Fundamental Errors in Published Works
If an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in a published work, it is the author’s responsibility to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate in correcting or retracting the paper.
